3rd Azerbaijan Science Festival to be held on October 9-30.

The festival will be held by the initiative of ANAS, the sponsorship of the United Nations, the organizational support of the Baku City Executive Power, the Foundation for the Development of Science under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Knowledge Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministries of Education, Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Moscow State University and the US Embassy in our country.

Within the framework of the science festival a number of events will be held in Baku, Nakhchivan, Sheki, Mingachevir, Ganja, Lankoran and Guba.

Propagation of modern knowledge, increasing interest in conducting research work by attracting young people to scientific work are the main goals of the festival, which takes place every 2 years. Within the framework of the event are planned speeches of young scientists in various scientific areas, acquaintance with interactive exhibitions, contests, reports reflecting new scientific achievements, scientific shows, presentation of popular science films related to institutions and organizations of ANAS.
