Rafael Huseynov, Academician MP of Milli Majlis, who actively attends the scientific-cultural and social-political life of Europe, was deserved to highest award in the UK. 

Numerous reports and documents prepared by him as a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, performances, including reports heard in a number of conferences and symposia held in the leading scientific centers in Europe, critical articles and books published in more than 30 languages have been evaluated as a contribution, contributed to the development of democratic values and the intellectual heritage of progress on the continent.

Considering the merits of Rafael Huseynov in building the "European home", he was awarded a medal and a prize "Award of a united Europe", have officially registered in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Being a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe since 2001, I have prepared numerous reports, in respect of which adopted a number of decisions that the Committee of Ministers for execution was sent to the 47 member countries.
