On October 29, Aran Regional department of Azerbaijan National Literature Museum of ANAS after Nizami Ganjavi, locating in Kurdamir, has held an event “Majlis Mahmud agha” devoted to the 190th anniversary of Mahmud agha Mammadzadeh, who had been a supporter and protector of “Beytus-safa” literary event by notable poet and enlightener Seyid Azim Shirvani.

Presenter of the event - head of Aran Regional department of Azerbaijan National Literature Museum PhD in Philology Yagut Bahadurgizi, has opened the event and spoke about deeds of Mahmud agha Mammadzadeh done for literary-cultural scope of Shirvan-Shamakhy in the XIX century.

The guests of the event Dr. Philology, Chairman of AWU Shirvan department Prof. Seyfeddin Geniyev, Honored Artist of the Republic Eldost Bayram and others reported and shared their opinions about Mahmud agha Mammadzadeh.
