The book "Ancient Turkic sagas”, which includes the Saka, Hun-Oghuz, Uighur medieval Turkic sagas, was published.

The book was published with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the support of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami of ANAS within the framework of the project "Literary Monuments of the Turkic World" of the Public Association for Social Development "Step into the Future".

The editor of the publication and the author of the preface is the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, Academician Rafael Huseynov.

The purpose of publishing the book is to collect the most ancient sagas, reflecting the ancient world view, thinking, their way of life, arisen in accordance with the desires, the beliefs of the Turkic peoples.

The book, which serves to strengthen unity of Turkic peoples, the return to national roots and propaganda among the younger generation of common values, is intended for a broad readership.

Note that, a new edition was recently presented at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.
