The next scientific seminar devoted to the theme of "World Literature" was held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi. It was about the famous representative of the 19th century English poet, scientist, teacher Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

The lecturer, Tomiris Babanli, head of the Museum Expedition Conservation, Interpretation, Audiovisual Support Department, informed Lonjfellon's story, his life, and his extensive creative work. Talking about the Henry’s researches about "Koroglu" epic and the reasons for writing the poem "Leap of Roushan Beg", T.Babanli noted that, Longfellow was among the prominent European and world writers in the exposition of the Nizami Museum.

Later, a slide on the English political and literary environment of the 19th century and the role of the heroic epic of "Koroglu" in the European freedom struggle has been demonstrated.

The event has continued by the speeches of deputy director of the museum, Professor Khatira Bashirli, the scientific worker of the Department of New and Modern Azerbaijan Literature, PhD in Philology Malahat Kalantarli, Torahanim Huseynova and others.
