In 2017, great representative of Azerbaijani literature, outstanding poet and playwright Huseyn Javid (Hussein Abdulla oglu Rasizadeh) will be 135.

Hussein Javid is a powerful artist who has given historical and cultural value to the treasury of Azerbaijani literature with his extremely deep creativity. He wrote vivid pages on the basis of the rich philosophical-poetic heritage of the East and successfully exploited the traditions of world romanticism in the Chronicles of literary-artistic thoughts of the Azerbaijani people.

As Javid's name as one of many victims of totalitarianism, has became a way of his own people. His inexperienced way of life that underwent a period of severe repression has transformed it into a symbol of the integrity of the artist's personality.

Bringing Hussein Javid's farewell to motherland from Siberia in 1982 on the personal initiative of Heydar Aliyev, and the magnificent mausoleum at Nakhchivan are an exceptional event in terms of the revival of the national spirit and the triumph of Azerbaijaniism.

Guided by Article 32, Paragraph 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree that in order to ensure the successful holding of the 135th jubilee of master of literature Huseyn Javid, who has provided exceptional services for the development of Azerbaijani literature, I decree:

1. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ali Mejlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to develop and implement an action plan for the  135th anniversary of Hussein Javid, taking into account the proposals of the Writers Union of Azerbaijan.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this Order.
