In May 2018 prominent chemist, honored scientist, Hero of Socialist Labor, academician Murtuza Fatulla Nagiyev will be 110.

Murtuza Nagiyev is one of the great scholars who made valuable contributions to the science of Azerbaijan and became the creator of a new direction in chemistry. He developed the basic principles of the theory based on the basis of the mathematical modeling of complexes related to chemistry technology, and found a new approach that differs from classical tradition in the study of chemical processes.

Guided by paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the holding at the state level of the 100th anniversary of the academician Murtuza Nagiyev, taking into account the important services in the field of chemistry science, oil chemistry and technology development in Azerbaijan, as well as in the field of training highly qualified chemists, I decree:

1. to prepare and implement a plan of events dedicated to the 110th anniversary of academician Murtuza Nagiyev

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this Order.
