An event devoted to 11 April presidential elections was held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS.

Director of the museum, academician Rafael Huseynov said that on April 11, a significant event will take place in the socio-political life of our country and this year's presidential election coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).

Azerbaijan was facing a threat of losing its independence in June 1993, but with the great intelligence and experience of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, he made our country from socio-political turmoil to development, academician noted.

R. Huseynov said that today President Ilham Aliyev continues the policy of development and Azerbaijan has become a leading state in the South Caucasus, both economically and politically, as well as a decisive figure in the important projects of several European countries.

R.Huseynov noted that the literary, cultural and scientific figures of Azerbaijan constantly feel the care of President Ilham Aliyev and that the young scientists of Azerbaijan will support the candidacy of Ilham Aliyev in the elections and will vote for the development and progress of our country in the next 7 years.
