ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held the 6th meeting of the Scientific Council on Philological Problems of the Scientific Research Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of academician Rafael Huseynov.

41 thesis were discussed at the meeting, including 10 topics for the degree of Doctor of Science and 31 for the Ph.D. 17 thesis were not approved for certain reasons, were given relevant recommendations to improve their researches.

Theses of dissertations for the scientific degree of doctor of sciences, doctoral student of ANAS Institute of Folklore Sonmaz Abbasly "Typology of folklore environment of Karabakh", thesis of the dissertant of Azerbaijan University of Languages Vusala Agabeyli "Linguistic representation of the gender concept in the literary text (based on the materials of English and Azerbaijani languages)", doctoral student of the Baku Slavic University Gulbaniz Ismailzadeh " Syntactic synonymy in the Turkic languages of the Oguz group", dissertant of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Gulmar Israfilova "Cognitive analysis of stable word combinations", dissertant of ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi Gulbaniz Mammadova "Structure of the semantic field of the invective vocabulary in French" were approved without introducing any changes.

The event held with a scientific discussion on the topics of dissertations "Literary and documentary prose in Azerbaijan literature: ideological content search and stages of development (1980-2000)", "Transformation of the modern Azerbaijani novel", "lexical-semantic differentiation of roots of words in Turkish languages of Oguz group","History of Azerbaijani linguistics (text linguistics)","System of punctuation marks in different languages".

In general, at the meeting 24 theme were approved and were changed titles of 9 theme. During discussions along with the academician Raphael Huseynov, the opinions and proposals were made by doctors of philology, Professors Aida Gasimova, Atamoglan Hasanov, Badirkhan Akhmedov, Jalil Nagiyev, Fakhraddin Veyselli, Gazanfar Kazimov, Korkmaz Guliyev, Rahila Guliyeva, Mehdi Kazimov, Nadir Mammadli, Shafag Alibeyli, and Pasha Karimov.
