Sweden has announced a new Nobel Committee on Literature. This decision was made by the Nobel Foundation and the Swedish Academy.

The Nobel committee, which will function in the new format, will include five members of the academy, Tass.ru  reports. In addition to the new members, non-formal literary experts will also be included in this committee.

The committee's new staff will start operating in 2019.
