In 2019, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, great writer, playwright, publicist and public figure Jalil Mammadguluzadeh will be 150.

Jalil Mammadguluzadeh is a great figure who has played an exceptional role in the promotion of Azerbaijani literature to a new stage and has formed an entire literary school. The rich heritage of the writer's artistic achievements, the ideology of Azerbaijanism has come to be widely used as the leading factor in the socio-political thought of the era. The artist has created a colorful gallery of realities that reflect the realities of life, a comprehensive picture of the social environment, and the artistic-aesthetic value carrier. "Molla Nasreddin" is a product of Mirza Jalil, which is widely spread in Azerbaijan and abroad and has a strong impact on the development of ideas of freedom and national revival.

Taking into account paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the proper celebration of the 150th anniversary of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh I hereby decree:

1. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to prepare and implement an action plan on the 150th jubilee of the great democratic writer Jalil Mammadguluzade, taking into account the proposals of the Writers Union of Azerbaijan.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this Order.
