The 14th international conference on “Azerbaijani and Iranian literature” was held in Urmia, Iran.

The event was organized by the Urmia University and the Society for Promotion of Persian Language and Literature. Oriental scientists from Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, France, Romania, Bangladesh, India, Australia and other countries participated in the conference.

Professor Shafaq Alibeyli, head of the department of computer science and literary translation of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS participated in the international conference. The report of the Azerbaijani scientist “Persian sofa of Fizuli” was welcomed with interest by the participants of the event.
