On December 30, National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature of ANAS named after Nizami Ganjavi has hosted for a presentation of the book “Nasimi: life after execution” by the Honored Scientist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Gazanfar Pashayev.

The author of the “Preface” to the book published by the Sharg-Garb publishing house is the director of the museum academician Rafael Huseynov, and the reviewer is the director of the Institute of Linguistics, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu.

Speaking at the event, academician Rafael Huseynov said that many valuable scientific works have been written this year dedicated to the ideological and artistic characteristics of the creativity and poetry of the great Azerbaijani poet Nasimi. He noted that along with his rich creative potential, poetic and philosophical heritage, the tragic execution of the great Azerbaijani poet and historical sources about him are always in the focus of attention of modern Nasimi study.

The scientist brought to the attention that the museum staff made a significant contribution to the "Year of Nasimi" - published articles on the poet's work and philosophy in our country and abroad, as well as the book "Nashimi without space and time" was published.

Then the author of the book, Professor Gazanfar Pashayev, spoke and noted the need to consider the life and work of the poet through the prism of new values. G. Pashayev expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
