"Youth in Classical Azerbaijan Literature" literary-art event held at the Museum + Photo Feb 03, 2020 | 17:14 / Conferences, assemblies

On February 3, National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature of ANAS named after Nizami Ganjavi, a literary-art event on topic "Youth in Classical Azerbaijani Literature" was held.  

Opening the event, director of the museum academician Rafael Huseynov spoke about the youth policy implemented in our country and attention and care of our state in this area. He said that February 2 is celebrated as the Day of Azerbaijani Youth in our country by the relevant decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. 

Speaking about the role of young people in preserving the purity of the Azerbaijani language, academician R. Huseynov said that they had an important task to distance our language from existing threats and pass it on to future generations. 

The director of the museum spoke about the role of secondary and higher education institutions in the educated and intellectual Azerbaijani youth and stressed the importance of returning young scientists who have succeeded in various countries around the world to contribute to Azerbaijani science.

 Then, R.Huseynov delivered a lecture on "The Javid's Formula for Youth attitude" and gave valuable advice to young people in the works of Nizami Ganjavi, Imadaddin Nasimi, Mahsati Ganjavi and others, great classics of Azerbaijan. 

Academician R. Huseynov said that Huseyn Javid, one of the greatest poets and playwrights of the 20th century, was ahead of his age in life and thinking, giving his youth a special place in his creativity.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Doctor of Philosophy Eshgana Babayeva, doctoral students of the museum Natavan Baghirova, Fatima Suleymanova and others spoke about the youth policy implemented in Azerbaijan and reforms carried out in the ANAS.

Then the event continued with artistic part. Students of the Gymnasium of Arts, operating under the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan, as well as the Azeri Pearls vocal group of the Children's Youth Development Center # 3 in Baku gave a concert.

Finally, museum employees, distinguished for its scientific and social activities, were presented certificates.
