Scientific Council of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS has a permanent "Scientific Seminar". In this seminar, throughout the year, museum staff, including members of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, make scientific reports and hold discussions on various topics.

Timed to coincide with the 95th anniversary of the scientist-surgeon Javad Heyat, the next scientific seminar, which has become a traditional means of exchanging science and knowledge, was held online. The seminar was dedicated to the topic “Javad Hayat, serving people with a pen and a surgical knife”.

Narmin Aliyeva, researcher at the Department of Research and Presentation of Ancient and Medieval Azerbaijani Literature of the Museum and a member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, spoke about the life and work of J. Heyat, the journals he established and his friendship with Muhammad Huseyn.

The video seminar continued with the display of personal photos of J. Heyat, images from his corner in the museum, issues of “Varlig” journal, as well as his books.
