On July 13, the regular online meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Science and Education took place.

The chairman of the committee, corresponding member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Aliyev said that the agenda of the meeting included the “Report on the work done by the Committee on Science and Education during the spring and extraordinary sessions of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2020” and current issues.

Then, the chairman of the committee spoke in detail about the activities carried out during the reporting period, the meetings, issues considered, the committee’s activities in the field of legislation and the preparation of textbooks for secondary schools, as well as the applications and appeals received by the committee over the past period.

Present at the meeting were the deputy chairman of the committee, corresponding member of ANAS Musa Gasimli, deputies - academicians Isa Habibbayli and Rafael Huseynov, Professor Anar Isgenderov, PhD in Theology Jeyhun Mammadov and others expressed their positive attitude towards the report.

Next, current issues were discussed: the situation in the field of education in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation in the front-line zone, etc.
