October 5, in the main building of ANAS with the organizational support of the Institute of Philosophy, a scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding scientist-philosopher, Honored Scientist, Academician Aslan Aslanov was held.

At the event, the Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the life and work, scientific work A.Aslanov, as well as his work on the development of ethics and aesthetics. It was noted that despite the small number of scientific papers on the development of aesthetic thought in Azerbaijan, problems and principles of aesthetics, they are all serious work from the point of view of science, content and meaning. The work of the scientist special place is given to the world of classical philosophy and the field of aesthetic thought. He had valuable thoughts about the eastern, western and Greek philosophy, through which you can create a portrait of the scientist, as a philosopher. It was noted that Aslanov is one of the most prominent scholars of the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle. Along with this he was able to skillfully analyze the true essence and main features of the aesthetics of ancient Greece, ancient Rome, medieval Europe and the Middle East. They were also studied aesthetic views luminaries Greek aesthetics of Democritus, Heraclitus and Socrates.

Speaking at the event, Academician Teymur Bunyadov shared his memories about the Academician A.Aslanov. Academician Vasim Mammadaliyev said that Aslan Aslanov expertly coordinated national and universal values which, in his opinion, play a huge role in the process and the process common-educational progress. In the international scientific events, scientist always focused to the most concrete demonstration of aesthetic culture and thoughts of every nation, their detailed commenting.

PhD in Philology, writer, and journalist Sona Valiyeva in his speech on the theme "Unforgettable people, outstanding teacher" told about the high human qualities of A.Aslanov. Speaking of the great contribution of Azerbaijan esthetic science, S.Velieva noted that Academician is one of those people who considered a master in the literary, organization and other areas. His kindness always will be remembered with appreciated. Aslanov left a large torch in the hearts of people.

Then it was heard the report of the Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, Academician Rafael Huseynov on "Credo of poet-philosopher: a study of beauty and chanting". It was noted that along with scientific advances, Aslanov was also the distinguished representative of the intelligentsia as a songwriter. He was a lyric poet by nature. Evidence of this is his books of poems, published as early as 50-60 years of the last century. Aslan muallim combined versification and aesthetics in a special harmony. In his poetry Azerbaijani natural beauty sung with great harmony. Natural scenery, aesthetic relationship of man to nature is brought to the reader with a fragile sensitivity. Social and political life of his native Azerbaijan, along with the rich nature is not spared poetry Aslan muallim.

Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh, Ph.D Zumrud Guluzadeh, Adil Asadov, Niyazi Mehdiyev and other speakers talked about the great contribution of a prominent scientist in the Azerbaijan science.

Daughter A.Aslanov Yegana Aslanova shared memories of her father, and said that he was a brilliant person, and at the same time, caring and a good family chief. She expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event for the respect and honor to her father’s memory.
