In a joint meeting of Human Sciences and Social Sciences Divisions of ANAS were discussed tasks stemming out from Orders of President Ilham Aliyev and academy scientists.

Opening the meeting, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke of reforms in the fields of human and social sciences. Stressing the importance of President’s Orders on announcing 2017 the "Year of the Islamic Solidarity”, holding 300th anniversary of Molla Panah Vagif, and V International Azerbaijani Carpet Symposium I.Habibbeyli told about tasks of scientists concerning international conferences to be held, books article collections to be published, including preparing Islamic encyclopedia for children and adolescents, and organization of exhibitions.

Discussions were attended by heads of research institutes and museums of aforementioned divisions of ANAS. Academician-Secretary of Human Sciences Division Academician Teymur Karimli, Acting Academician-Secretary of Social Sciences Division and corresponding member of ANAS Nargiz Akhundova, institute directors – Academicians Rafael Huseynov, Naila Valikhanli, corresponding members – Mukhtar Imanov, Mohsun Naghisoylu, Ertegin Salamzadeh, Shahin Mustafayev, Professors – Ilham Mammadzade, Musa Gasimli, Maisa Rahimova, Ayten Mustafayeva, Gulbeniz Babakhanli and others recommended their suggestions on conference and scientific sessions to be held at the research institutes led by them. Chairman of Executive Board of “Azerkhalca” Open Joint Stock Company, Professor Vidadi Muradov informed about tasks set forth his organization and works done related to V International Azerbaijani Carpet Symposium.

A certain commission and working group guided by Academician Isa Habibbeyli was created at the event due to ensure the publication of Islamic encyclopedia for children and adolescents.

At the meeting, head of Public Relations and Science Popularization Office of ANAS Zulfugar Farzaliyev, chairman of Young Scientists and Specialists Council PhD in Physics Famin Salmanov, director of “Elm” publisher Hafiz Abiyev dealt with fulfillments to be done at the organizations led by them.
