Union of Artists of Azerbaijan opened a personal exhibition of art works by Honored Artist Rais Rasulzade on June 5.

The exhibition, which was attended by deputies, employees of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and representatives of the Union of Artists demonstrated such works by the artist as "Chinars", "Chaikend after the Rain", "On Absheron", "Spring in Sheki", "Shahdag", "Settlement on the sea coast","Gushchular Village","Kapaz and Murovdag".

Speaking at the event, the secretary of the Union of Artists, People's Artist Agali Ibrahimov noted that, Rais Rasulzadeh is one of the professional painters who create wet paint in Azerbaijan. He said that the artist's works are distinguished by a large volume, various figures, compositions and scenery.

Then, Director of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Rafael Huseynov highlighted the opening of the personal exhibition the artist a bright event in his biography.

The scientist noted that, work by R.Rasulzadeh reflects Azerbaijan, its nature, spirit and essence.

It was noted that R.Rasulzadeh is also a prominent teacher. First he graduated from the Art School named after Azim Azimzadeh and the Armenian State Pedagogical University, and then linked his whole life with the Pedagogical University. Demonstrating their works at exhibitions organized in various cities around the world, R.Rasulzadeh propagated Azerbaijan and the rich cultural heritage of our people

MP Fazil Mustafa, an employee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Gabil Abbasov and others spoke about the valuable contribution of R.Rasulzadeh to the development of fine arts, shared their thoughts on the exhibition.

In conclusion, the artist Rais Rasulzadeh expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
