ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature after Nizami Ganjavi hosted a scientific session on the theme "The World of Words and the School of M.P.Vagif". Director of the museum, Academician Rafael Huseynov, who spoke at the event, spoke about the role of the great master in the history of the artistic word and thought of Azerbaijan.

Academician brought to the attention that, written by the poet in the spirit of folk art goshma, bayat, garayy and muhammas enriched Azerbaijani literature. It was noted that, by creating unique samples of poetry, an outstanding poet gave impetus to the development of national literature in a new direction. It is thanks to Vagif's creativity that Azerbaijani poetry has entered the next stage of its development. In his poems, the purity and naturalness of the Azerbaijani language were reflected. The poet's immortal poetry has turned into a glorification of the beauty of a person, into a wonderful expression of kindness and sincerity between people.

R.Huseynov also noted that, Vagif played an important role in the political environment of Azerbaijan, his wisdom and foresight of the public figure left a mark on history. According to Academician, an in-depth study and study of Vagif's literary heritage and political activity is one of the main tasks facing scientists.

Recalling the Order of AR President Ilham Aliyev "On the 300th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Molla Panah Vagif" dated January 12, 2017, R. Huseynov noted that, in the history of independent Azerbaijan the work of M.P.Vagif was studied for the first time.
