The event was organized by the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, dedicated to the memory of Mahammadhuseyn Shahriyar and the presentation of the new bibliographic index of the poet.

The book was published with the support of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Scientific editor of the publication is Director of the Institute of Literature, Vice President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, editors - PhD in Philology Zakira Aliyeva and Honored Culture Worker Khuraman Ismayilova, and the author is PHD in philology Esmira Fuad.

Speaking at the event, academician Isa Habibbeyli said that M. Shahriyar's memorial day was widely celebrated both in Iran and in the Muslim world. Shahriyar is a mighty literary figure of Azerbaijani literature of the twentieth century and works of the poet reflect the philosophical problems, such as human-humanist ideas, real and ideal world, human fate, personality and time, scientist noted.

Thanks to the series of works by Shahriyar, Hafiz Shirazisi, Persian scholars the classic of the twentieth century, accepted as a ghazal master.

"Bibliographic indicator" was prepared for the memory of the poet and the book reflects the full list of M. Shahriyar's life pages, important moments of his works, and the work would be an important tool in the development of Azerbaijani-Iranian literary-scientific relations, I.Habibbeyli noted.

Then, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Philology, Professor Alizade Askerli, leading scientific worker of the South Azerbaijan Literature Department, PhD in Philology Esmira Fuad, Doctor of Philology Islam Garibli, Doctor of Philology, Professor Asif Rustamli and scientific researcher Fikret Akhmedov delivered a report.

At the end, a slide reflecting the life and creativity of M. Shahriyar has been demonstrated.
