Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) held regular meeting at ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami.

First, the newly elected chairpersons of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Manuscripts, the Institute of Philosophy, the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry were introduced to the Council. At the meeting, Dr. Ulduza Mehvaliyeva, Ph.D in Biology was elected as the new executive secretary of the CYSS of ANAS.

In his speech at the event, the chairman of the CYSS, Ph.D. in Physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov noted that, the councils should submit a report for November to the relevant scientific institutions and departments. He brought to the attention that the reports should reflect the important scientific results of young scientists, their articles published in prestigious foreign journals, as well as the activities carried out by the council.

F.Salmanov also stressed the need to ensure active participation of young people in the plenary and interactive discussions envisaged in the scientific and practical conference on "Modern science through the eyes of youth", which will be held on November 17 this year.

At the meeting, discussions were also held in connection with the preparations for the First Congress of Young Scientists of Azerbaijan.
