PhD exams on Informatics kicked off Jan 16, 2018 | 10:10 / Important events

ANAS Institute of Information Technology launched PhD exam on Informatics for PhD students on January 15.

Starting from September 2017, various training courses were organized for the PhD students at the Training Innovation Center (TIM) in order to prepare for exams. Theoretical and practical basics of informatics were taught in these courses. Examinations were held for scientific researchers and necessary information was provided about the general rules of the exam.

The exams are held twice a year - in January and June. On the eve of the defense extraordinary exams for the PhD students are held in April and October.

It should be noted that, since 2003 teaching of Informatics and admission to Phd courses have been helding at the Institute of Information Technology. PhD exams are carried out by electronic test method on the initiative of ANAS leadership from June 2013. Distant educational centers of the institute are operating at the Ganja Department of ANAS, Nakhchivan State University and Nakhchivan Department of ANAS. Relevant lessons for PhD students living in Ganja and Nakhchivan are taught in remote form by TIC. Since 2016, Informatics for the researchers living in those areas have been helding in remote form over the Internet.
