ANAS main building hosted a meeting on the admission to doctoral studies for the 2017 / 18th academic year at the Academy on March 14.

Scientific secretaries of ANAS departments, directors of institutes, heads of education departments, doctoral candidates and their advisers on the stage of doctor of sciences participated in the event.

Speaking at the meeting, academician Akif Alizadeh emphasized the necessity to meet the requirements of world science in the doctoral studies on the stage of Doctor of Sciences, "Young scientists should conduct research in priority areas" said the scientist's contribution to world science, highlighted the need to publish the results in authoritative international publications.

A.Alizadeh noted that, one of the main goals of ANAS is to support the scientific and organizational activities of young people and to train them as highly qualified professionals. Speaking about the acceleration of science and education integration, the head of ANAS urged young researchers to actively participate in this process and wished them success in their future activities.

Then, were held discussions around topics of 37 researchers, PhD students are encouraged to give priority to topics in the future for relevant research areas.

After discussions, some of the doctoral themes have been approved.
