"One of the successes achieved by us over the past five years is associated with a steady trend towards an increase in statistical indicators for the Web of Scince, Scopus and Google databases". This was noted by President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Akif Alizadeh in his speech at the annual General Meeting devoted to the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Presidium of ANAS in 2017.

Noted that, at present the expanding cooperation with international scientific bases positively influences the dynamics of scientific productivity, he added that, for this purpose was signed an agreement between ANAS and "Clarivate Analytics" organization. Academician stressed that, in accordance with this agreement, scientists employed in all scientific institutions of ANAS were able to use the "Web of Science" database: "A unified profile of the majority of scientific institutions of ANAS was created in the "Web of Science" database. Through these profiles, you can easily follow the publishing activity of scientific institutions and employees, get acquainted with the indicators of the Hirsch index and determine the number of links".
