A scientific session devoted to the 110th jubilee of prominent poet Mikayil Mushfig has been held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi on July 6.

At the event, organized on President Ilham Aliyev’s order “On celebrating Mikayil Mushfiq’s 110th anniversary” on May 17, 2018, the director of the museum, academician Rafael Huseynov made a report on theme "The eternal poem Mushfig".

The scientist that Mushfig, which had been targeted for unjust prosecutions, has gained value today as a result of care and attention of the independent Azerbaijan state. Mikayil Mushfig belongs to the generation of prominent poets, who created and developed our national poetry in the early 20th century. Although he was engaged in poetic activity for only a decade of short life, lyric poems and poems, the product of the writer's pen, translations from world literature have left deep and indelible imprints on our artistic heritage.

Academician R.Huseynov also spoke his famous poem "Oxu Tar" and how great he was.

Director of the museum said that Mushfig's heritage will always live and remembered. He noted that the poet's first books were preserved in the fund of the Literature Museum today.

Then the reports of the employees of the museum were listened on "The Art of Living in Hearts", "Love of Youth in Mushfig Poetry", "The Eternal Mushfig image in Memory and Art".
