The author's film "Bakikhanovs" by the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, academician Rafael Huseynov was shown on the "Culture" channel of "AzTV".

In the documentary, Tofig Bakikhanov, a well-known representative of the Bakikhanov family - son of prominent tar player, People's Artist Ahmad Bakikhanov, the first violinist soloist of Azerbaijan, composer, People's Artist of the USSR, spoke about the role of his generation in the history of Azerbaijan. T. Bakikhanov, a descendant of the well-known Azerbaijani scientist, historian, poet, translator, public figure Abbasgulu Aga Bakikhanov, said that the representatives of the Bakikhanov dynasty have always served the Azerbaijani people. This generation has produced many doctors and generals, scientists and musicians. The Bakikhanovs, known for their great services in the country, were enlightened and always interested in the cultural life of Azerbaijan.

The composer also spoke about the life and work of Mammadkhan Bakikhanov, a talented connoisseur of mugam, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani folk music, tar player, honored artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, and spoke about his work.

The film notes that Tofig Bakikhanov, who honorably continues the traditions of the generation to which he belongs throughout his life, still glorifies Azerbaijani music throughout the world with his services. His "Caspian Ballad" has been successfully performed 30 times in France. French newspapers published articles praising it for months.
