In order to get acquainted with the cultural heritage, folk art and material culture of Azerbaijan representatives from different countries participating 29th Session of the Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) visited the museums of Baku city. In framework of conference the advisor of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Gabriela Vieira visited Nizami Museum for learning more about traditions, history, literature and culture of the country hosting the event. Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, academician Rafael Huseynov met with the guest. After sincere conversation and exchange of minds, he presented the book “Carpets of Nizami museum” with illustrations of the carpet collection. Gabriela Vieira shared her impressions of COP-29 and mentioned that COP-30 will be held in her country next year and members of delegation from Brazil have benefited a lot from the experience of Azerbaijan in COP-29. Gabriela Vieira also expressed her special pleasant with the activities of volunteers and hopes that COP30 events will be organized in her country at the same high level as in Azerbaijan.
Following the tradition of Nizami Museum, the visitor wrote about her impressions in testimonial book of the museum. She noted that Azerbaijan has much to show the world and she was especially impressed by the works of art and paintings exhibited in the museum. She also expressed gratitude for hospitality.
