The next general meeting of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences (DHS) was held on July 6.

Academician-secretary of the department, academician Teymur Karimli, bureau members, heads of scientific organizations included in DHS and invited employees on relevant issues participated in the event, which was led by vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli.

At the meeting were held the elections of the deputy secretaries and members of the Bureau.

According to the results of the poll, academician Mukhtar Imanov and correspondent member of ANAS Ertegin Salamzadeh were elected deputy secretaries of DHS.

In addition, the new composition of the bureau of the unit was also identified at the meeting. Academicians Kamal Abdullayev, Mohsun Nagisoylu, corresponding members of ANAS - Jafar Giyasi, Nushaba Arasli, Tehran Mustafayev and Kamran Aliyev, members of the Bureau of DHS, academician Rafael Huseynov, professor of ANAS Aynur Sabitova and PhD on philology Gulbeniz Babakhanli were elected members of the Bureau of the Division.

It was decided to submit to the Presidium of ANAS for the approval of the results.
