President Ilham Aliyev declared 2019 as “The Year of Nasimi” in Azerbaijan.

The head of state informed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development in 2018 and the upcoming tasks.

President Ilham Aliyev said that taking into account the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi, he declares this year in Azerbaijan the Year of Nasimi.
