ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature after Nizami Ganjavi hosted the opening of an exhibition of works by the well-known master in the field of metalwork, Honored Artist Mubariz Akparov "The World of Beauty by a Ganja Artist" on November 28.

Speaking at the event, the museum's director, Academician Rafael Huseynovnoted that, M.Akparov is a well-known expert on metalwork, famous also outside of our country. His various types of weapons, military clothing and accessories, decorated with national ornaments, attract attention with their sophistication. Weapons, created by the master, were used during the filming of feature films and documentaries.

Academician R.Huseynov noted that, at first this exhibition was demonstrated at the republican conference on "The Sword and Feather of Khatai", dedicated to the 530th anniversary of Shah Ismail Khatai, and aroused great interest of the participants of the event. He also brought to the attention that in the near future an album with photos of all the artist's works will be published.

Informing about activities and creativity, Mubariz Akparov said that, noticing his talent, the People's Artist Latif Kerimov advised the artist to work in this area. M.Akperov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Literature Museum and participants for organizing the event at a high level.

Then, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition. At the exhibition, along with samples of the artist's art, made of steel, silver and other metals, handwork from leather materials was also presented.
