In 2012, March 12 the delegation from Moscow visited the National Museum of Azerbaijani literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS. The guests of Haydar Aliyev Foundation Yekaterina Geniyeva-Director General of All-Russian State Library of Foreign literature named after M.Rudomino, vice-director of the library, professor Svetlana Gorokhova, administrative director, professor Alexander Petrov, director of Translation, professor Yevgeni Reznichenko, chief of the International department, professor olga Smirnova, director of Institute of Tolerance, professor Svetlana Stulova,director of Cultural Programmes Center professor Lyudmila Skachkova got wide information about Azerbaijani literature in the Museum. They admired the richness of literary and cultural heritage of the nation. The life, creativity and struggle of progressive poets made great impression on the guests. Passing through the halls, the quests thanked Azerbaijani people for creating such a unique museum with great pleasure. During the tour, the members of the delegation got information about friendly literary links between two nations. It was interesting for quests to get information about the ways of development of literature, close relations and its influence on the other nations. The quests were delighted with the fact on memorial museum of the great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin, which is the under sponsorship of Nizami Museum. “Leaving this wonderland”, the quests wrote in the “Museum Comment Book”: “The nation should keep its history and remember its roots just in such way. Thank you for desire to share your love to Azerbaijani culture with us”. Photos of the quests wer taken, newly-published guide-books and other gifts were presented to the quests.
