On November 25-27, 2021, the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS will organize an international scientific conference on "The place of Nizami Ganjavi" Khamsa "in the system of Eastern and Western literary and cultural relations and new directions".

The event dedicated to the 880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi will be held in the following sections:

- Nizami Ganjavi heritage and European literary and cultural environment;

- Predecessors and successors - Nizami Ganjavi's Eastern and Western sources, Nizami's influence in Eastern and Western literature;

- Problems of international research, publication and promotion of Nizami's personality and heritage;

- Manuscripts of Nizami's works and miniatures painted on "Khamsa" in world libraries and archives;

- Nizami literary school: main features, leading figures, reconciliation mission;

- Nizami and Azerbaijani literature;

- Problems of translation of Nizami's "Khamsa" and "Divan" into different languages;

- Nizami's philosophical world "Khamsa" collection of moral and spiritual values;

- Nizami "Khamsa" as a source of encyclopedic knowledge and large-scale literary thinking;

- Forms, genres and poetics in Nizami's heritage and classical Eastern literature;

- Nizami's legacy in the field of Azerbaijani and world art.

Rules for compiling abstracts:

- The text is typed in Microsoft Word for Windows (Times New Roman) font - 12 ppt, 1.5 line spacing, printed on standard A4 format (210x297 mm) white paper;

- At the beginning of the text in the middle should be the name of the report in large and dark font, at the bottom right in small and dark font the author's name, surname, and below it the academic degree, place of work and e-mail (all in lowercase);

- There should be a space of 1 cm on the right side of the text, 3 cm on the left side, 2 cm at the bottom and 2 cm at the top;

- The text of the thesis is up to 3 pages with a summary in English;

- If the text of the thesis is written in English, a summary in Azerbaijani;

- If the text of the thesis is written in Russian, Persian, Arabic, a summary is required in Azerbaijani and English.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is September 1, 2021.

The organizing committee has the right to select theses, make corrections in the text (without changing the general content), return the reports.
