Decision on the establishment of the Award of ANAS President for youth was adopted on March 2 at the meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

According to the approved Regulation, the Award will be given to young scientists who have special achievements in the field of natural and social sciences and humanities.

At the event Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliyevtold about work carried out in recent years in the field of youth policy of the academy, widely involvement to the scientific and organizational activity, increasing of youth activity in public, social and cultural life of the country.

The Academician Rasim Alguliyev emphasized that, for stimulation of scientific activity of youth is necessary to hold competitions and to award young scientists with prizes. Note that, the award will be awarded to young researchers under the 35 age, who have special achievements in the field of natural, social and humanities sciences.

The documents on nominates will be submitted to the Expert Commission, established by resolution of ANAS Presidium; then the Expert Commission will select from among them a candidate for the award and will present his conclusion to Presidium of ANAS.

The final decision on awarding will be taken by the Presidium. The winners will be awarded by the diploma and a cash prize amounting 2 thousand manat.
