Next training of National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature of ANAS named after Nizami Ganjavi from series of “World’s museums” was devoted to famous museum of England - “Victoria and Albert”.

Being one of the most visited places in the world, the museum has been established by the initiative of Queen Victoria, who wrote the progressive Victorian Era to the British history, and her husband Prince Albert.

The lecturer – chief department of The explanation and storage of the exposition and the support of the audio-observation Tomiris Babanly dealt with rich Europe, East and other galleries of the mentioned museum and the magnificent carpet of Sheikh Safi. She informed about British kingdom and architecture of XIX century as well. Today, numerous art pearls of ancient East culture are demonstrated in the world’s museums, she noted.

T. Babanly compared the Azerbaijan cultural exhibits protected at the Victoria Albert Museum to glazed tiles and ceramic art works of National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature, made comparisons among the Sheikh Safi carpet stored in the London museum and carpets of South Azerbaijan.

Event continued with questions and speeches by Professor Shefeg Alibayli, PhD in philology Malahat Kalantarli, scientific fellows Tutu Mammadova, Torekhanum Huseynova and others.
