On the eve of the 1st European Games which will be held in Baku, ANAS Azerbaijan National Museum of Literature switched to two-shift work schedule on June 1.

Every day, except Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00, foreign and domestic visitors of the museum get acquainted with the exposition, reflecting the historical path traversed by the Azerbaijani literature from ancient times to the modern era.

They are given detailed information on manuscripts of the well-known writers, written samples of famous calligraphers, miniatures to works of classics, works of the Azerbaijani writers and documentary photos, models of folklore, collections of the coins which are going back to various eras, ancient carpets, ceramic vessels and other examples of material culture.

The particular interest of visitors of the museum is attracted by the fragments shown by means of the monitors installed in the museum from various Azerbaijani movies, theatrical performances, works of prominent Azerbaijani composers, poetry samples performed by famous actors. Excursion and guide- are provided interpreter services to foreign visitors of the museum in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.

Noted that, museum will operate in a two-shift work schedule until June 30.
