Presentation of the book "Ancient Turkic Sagas" took place in the Natavan Club of the Writers' Union.

The book was published as part of the project "Literary Monuments of the Turkic World" with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the support of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS.

The scientific editor and author of the preface of the book, published in elegant design, is the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, Academician Rafael Huseynov.

Speaking at the event, the national writer Chingiz Abdullayev spoke about the importance of the publication presented to the public. He noted that the book "Ancient Turkic Sagas" included samples of the ancient saks, Huns, Oguzes, hecturks, Uighurs and Turks of the Middle Ages. He stressed the need to publish similar books in various languages.

It was noted that in this book the most ancient epics are collected, reflecting the ancient world outlook of the Turkic-speaking peoples, the way of thinking, at the same time, fantastic thoughts far from realism.

Ayla Hasanova, the head of the project "Literary Monuments of the Turkic World", said that the main task of the project is to strengthen the unity of the Turkic peoples, preserve spiritual bridges between them, return to national roots, and promote our common values among the younger generation.

Speakers at the event spoke about the merits of the book.
