The prize committees are currently working carefully and independently to select the recipients of the 2018 Nobel Prize and the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.

As Nobelprize.org reports the Laureates will be announced starting on 1 October in Physiology or Medicine. On October 2 in-physics, October 3-chemistry, October 5 -the Nobel Peace Prize and on October 8 -“The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel”.

The Swedish Academy will provide additional information on the date the Nobel Prize for literature was awarded.

For 2018, the amount of awards for each category is 9 million Swedish crowns (1.1 mil. Dollars).
