The last 11th meeting of the Scientific Council on Philological Problems was held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi.

At the meeting were discussed 4 doctoral and 25 PhD themes discussed.

During the discussions led by academician Rafael Huseynov, the Deputy Chairman of the Board, prof. Asker Rasulov, secretary of the council, prof. Aida Gasimova, doctors of philological sciences, professors Jalil Nagiyev, Badirkhan Ahmedov, Rahila Geybullayeva, Fakhraddin Veyselli, Pasha Kerimov, Shafag Alibeyli, Gorkhmaz Guliyev, Bilal Ismayilov, Imamverdi Hamidov, Ramiz Asker, Nadir Mammadli, Gulu Maharramli and other members of the council sounded speeches and proposals.

Names of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS lala Hasanova’s "Typology and development stages of art-documentary literature in Azerbaijan literature", doctoral student of Azerbaijan University of Languages Vusala Mirzayeva's "Magical Realism in the US Literature: History and Typology" preserved but dissertator Mehman Aliyev and Tore Mammadova’s themes were not confirmed.

"Structural-semantic features of social cultural cultures in English", "Traditions of Ancient Turkic Epics and Epos", "Psychology in the Period of Independence of Azerbaijan (2000-2010)", "Garabagh discurse” in Modern Russian and Azerbaijani languages" and other themes have been discussed

18 themes were approved at the meeting changing the names of 6.
