As a result of our country's access to the world's leading sciencometric base “Web of science”, including activities of domestic scientists and researchers, scientific productivity in the country has increased significantly and the effectiveness of research activities has increased significantly. Thus, as of November 2019, Azerbaijan ranks first in the region due to the growth dynamics of “Web of Science” indexed research works and effectiveness of them.

Note that, 1392 research works were registered in the scientific base of “Web of Science” in Azerbaijan. The similar figure is 1119 for Armenia and 999 for Georgia. The information for 2019 will be completed within the first half of next year.
