In 2020, marks 80 years of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Over the past period, National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature carried out fruitful activities in the field of research and proomotion of the centuries-old culture and great literary heritage of our people, adequately coped with the tasks assigned to it. Valuable exhibits stored in the museum and demonstrated ancient manuscripts, miniatures of works by great writers, samples of folk art and decorative art, rare documents related to outstanding personalities, as well as other monuments of material culture dating back to different centuries, form a complete picture of visitors the development that our literature has gone through to this day. Today, the museum, whose funds are constantly enriched with original materials, is not only recognized as one of the important scientific and cultural centers in the republic, but also carries out important educational work. The museum has great achievements in the preparation of scientific personnel and the formation of a new generation of museum experts.

Guided by paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the role in the comprehensive study of the history of Azerbaijani literature, collection and storage of samples of national literature, in order to ensure the 80th anniversary of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, I decide:

1. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences joint with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan to prepare and implement an action plan dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan to resolve issues arising from this Order.
