The delegation headed by the Chairman of the MUSLIM Institute of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Dzunagad State Sahibzade Sultan Ahmed Ali visited the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi.The director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi academician Rafael Huseynov warmly welcomed the guests. During the meeting, the existing cultural relations, friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as the constant support of each other by both countries were discussed. During detailed exchange of minds the perspectives for the development of the future cooperation was held. Within the framework of the meeting, and in order to expanse cultural and scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between organizations. After meeting with the director the members of delegation visited the exposition of the museum. The tour was guided by Ph.D in cultural studies, the head of the Department of international relations and world museums Naila Aliyeva. The members of delegation were informed about the history and the classical period of Azerbaijani literature. Special information was given about Nizami Ganjavi’s creative activity and its importance for the Islamic culture. At the end of the visit Sultan Ahmed Ali Sahibzade, expressed his impressions in the museum’s Testimonial Book. He specially mentioned natural beauty of Azerbaijan, peace and prosperity of the country, the hospitality of the people and pointed that the acquaintance with rich literature and culture of Azerbaijan remained in his memory forever. He also expressed his wish the friendship and brotherhood of Pakistan and Azerbaijan to be eternal.
