From 31 October to 5 November of this year by the organization of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, Baku City Executive Power, Knowledge Foundation at the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the U.S Embassy to Azerbaijan and the Moscow State University will host 2nd Azerbaijan Science Festival in Baku, Nakhchivan, Sumgait, Sheki and Ganja.

The festival will demonstrate scientific achievements obtained by Azerbaijani scientists in recent years and recognized in the world. There are performances of young scientists in various scientific sectors, introduction of creative workshops and interactive exhibitions, excursions, competitions, reports on new scientific achievements, entertaining science show, showing educational films that reflect the activities of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS. The event will also present new scientific technologies and innovative achievements. His scientific results demonstrate operating in the country, higher and secondary special educational institutions, as well as the institutions and organizations of the Academy.

The festival will be attended by President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, Minister of Education Mikail Jabbarov, Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade, Head of Baku City Executive Power Hajibala Abutalibov and official representatives of other organizations.
