ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature held the last 10th meeting for the current year of the Academic Council of the Republican Council for Coordination of Research on February 15.

At the meeting, chaired by Academician Rafael Huseynov were discussed 18 topics of applicants – 3 training program for doctors of sciences, 15 - doctors of philosophy.

At the event was noted that, 3 themes presented on the training program for doctors, are not at a satisfactory level.

Due to the fact that, the theme of the applicant on scientific degree competition of Doctor of Science Gulnara Hasanova on "Problems of the influence of creativity of Lev Tolstoy on Azerbaijani literature" does not match with her specialty, theme Samangul Gafarova "Genres of Azerbaijani and Russian literature for children in the first half the XX century" is not devoted to the study of the fundamental problems for doctoral work, and the theme of Khatira Huseynova "Features of works by contemporary global information channels (for example, CNN və Euronews-un)» did not set a goal of learning a serious knowledge-based issues they were not approved.

At the event were discussed topics for the preparation of doctors of philosophy on "The Semantic and stylistic equivalence in literary translation from German into Azerbaijani language", "The problem of the plot (contamination) in the plot in the Azerbaijani tales", "The concept of historicity and modernity in the Anglo-Azerbaijani historical novels," "Transliteration into Azerbaijani English proper nouns", "Problems of language and culture at the present stage", "Means of expression of the concept of space in the Persian language," "Gilgamesh" in the Anglo-American sources"," Problems of historical personalities to the Azerbaijani and Russian novels"(1930-1960). From the considered subjects 7 haven't been approved.

Thus, at the meeting were approved the 11 topic with the introduction of certain changes in the names of 8.
