High-Tech Park of ANAS (HT Park) will contribute to involve of investments in research, and knowledge economy by means of giving some privileges for the private sector, which investing in this direction, and creating an enabling environment due to achieve the strategic goals.

Science and technology is the basis of prosperity of any country or society. Scientific and technological developments are main priorities for Azerbaijan to hold a leading position in high-tech and innovation policy of the world. ANAS has many years rich experience, scientists and experts, important scientific achievements for holding studies in priority directions of scientific research.

High-Tech Park, which was established by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 8 November 2016, is regarded as a very important strategic mission for scientific community. High-Tech Park aims to increase state support for sustainable development of the economy and increase the competitiveness, enhance development of innovation and high technologies, which is based on modern scientific and technological achievements, and create a modern complex on holding scientific research and new technologies. To this end, existing facilities at the Experiment-Industry Plant of ANAS, numerous scientists and specialists of the research institutions, close to 350 modern laboratory and testing facilities will be involved in the processes of professional innovative management. Activities will be provided for creating external and internal infrastructures on the territory of High-Tech Park and for the effective implementation of business.

In order to establish the relationship between science and industry and for science commercialization there are Innovation Office, Science and Technology Park and Experiment-Industry Plant at the Presidium Administration of ANAS. As stipulated in the decree Park will carry out the functions of scientific support for innovative projects, and science commercialization. The projects to be implemented in the park of modern infrastructure will differ with its competitiveness, export potential and import substitute functions.
