As you know, the construction of a cooperative building "Science City" for the staff of ANAS is planned to be held in the Saray settlement of Absheron district. For this purpose, work on the design of the land belonging to the Academy has been carried out. Today in the Saray settlement on the territory of the building foreseen for scientists, began work on construction. Head of the Office of Administration of ANAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Fatali Abdullayev, Project Manager Elchin Orujev, Chairman of the Free Trade Union, Doctor of Law, Professor Gabil Gurbanov, Deputy Directors for General Affairs, Chairmen of Trade Unions of Scientific Institutions and Organizations and Young Scientists took part in the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, F.Abdullayev noted the implementation in recent years of comprehensive measures aimed at improving the social status of the Academy staff. Has brought to attention that the residential complex, which will be built for the first time in the history of ANAS is one of the most successful projects.

Head of the Office of Administration of ANAS said that, in the coming days, with the participation of the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh in Saray settlement, a foundation laying ceremony will be held. He noted that, one of the next events envisaged in the direction of solving social and domestic problems of ANAS is the opening of the polyclinic of ANAS.

The project manager Elchin Orujov said that, on the plot of 7 hectares it is preliminary planned to build 2, and in total 18 building blocks: "The Residential Complex "Science City" is located on an ecologically clean territory. Large parks will be built in the courtyard and around the complex. 1,2,3-room apartments are planned to be built in a modern style and high quality".

Then, the chairman of the Free Trade Union Gabil Gurbanov spoke, who noted that, today is one of the most significant days in the history of ANAS, wished successes to specialists involved in housing construction. He stressed the importance of enlightening the academy's employees in connection with the construction and conditions of lending to new apartments.

G.Gurbanov said that, in the residential complex it is also planned to build a school, a kindergarten, catering facilities and social facilities.
