Aran Regional Culture Branch of National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after N.Ganjavi announced gazal contest devoted to Nasimi according to President Ilham Aliyev's Decree, "Nasimi Year".

The event was attended by Head of the Aran regional branch of the National Museum of Literature of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in philology Yagut Bahadurgizi. She talked about, rich heritage of progressive social-philosophical ideals, high poetry of artistic aesthetic level of Nasimi.

Later, the selected pupils from the first round of the competition showed performances and the winners were defined by the jury.

10th-grade pupil of Kurdamir town secondary school Sahila Abdullayeva took the first, Tarana Heyderova, the 7th grade pupil of secondary school # 1 took the second, Tunzala Babayeva, 10th grade pupil of the secondary school # 6 the third place.

The winners were awarded Honorary decrees.
