Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, academician Rafael Huseynov was a guest of the program "Bizi birləşdirən mədəniyyət" (Culture that unites us), which is broadcast on the Mədəniyyət (Culture) channel. In his interview, the scientist spoke about the theme of patriotism in our culture and literature.

Calling Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC the center of culture and art of Azerbaijan, academician Rafael Huseynov emphasized that this organization plays an exceptional role in promoting the theme of patriotism. Speaking about the need for patriotic education from childhood, the scientist added that for this it is necessary to organize choral groups in secondary schools.

Rafael Huseynov also spoke about the importance of education policy and textbook writing. He noted that the Soviet education system has extensive experience in the step-by-step upbringing of children in a patriotic spirit, and added that in the modern period this experience could be used to achieve this goal.

The scientist stressed that measures should be taken to perpetuate the names of the martyrs who heroically died in the battles for Karabakh, including the memory of Major General Polad Hashimov who died during the battles in the Tovuz direction, it is necessary to tell the younger generation about all their exploits.
