With the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation and the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, a video conference entitled "The Power of the Word" was held at the secondary school No. 1583 named after K.A.Karimov in Moscow.

The main theme of the event was the work of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, whose 880th anniversary was celebrated in our country this year.

The online conference was attended by representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation, Moscow State Pedagogical University, the Russian Ministry of Education and other organizations.

Opening the video conference, Svetlana Yevgenyevna Dvoryantseva, director of Moscow Secondary School No. 1583, noted the importance of the event dedicated to the works of the great poet of Azerbaijan and the East Nizami Ganjavi. She said that the rich literary heritage of the great thinker is an example of peace and tolerance. Recalling the declaration of "Year of Nizami" by UNESCO in 1991, the school principal described the announcement of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in Azerbaijan as a historic event.
