The director of Kazakhstan ESGQ Rating Agency, Ph.D in Economics Yerlik Karacan, visited the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi during his visit to Azerbaijan to participate in events organized within the framework of COP29.

Yerlik Karacan has taught world economy and international business at leading universities in Kazakhstan and participated in several economic research projects.

Speaking about the importance of the events organized in the Green Zone of COP29 and their high-level organization, the visitor also toured museums to get to know Azerbaijan better. He expressed regret for not having visited the Nizami Museum during his first days in our city.

Later, through the scientific worker of the museum Aygun Abbasguliyeva, the visitor became acquainted with the exhibition, which was particularly interesting to him due to the display dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi. He showed great interest in the heritage of Nizami Ganjavi, as well as in the artworks, carpets, and other visual materials created based on his “Khamsa”.

Yerlik Karacan noted in the museum's book of reviews and impressions that he greatly enjoyed his visit to the Nizami Museum. He wished that both his compatriots who visit Azerbaijan and everyone in Kazakhstan be acquainted with Azerbaijani literature, history, and culture.

Publications from Nizami Museum, including “Mahsati Ganjavi. Portrait-Essay” in Russian, and “Shirvan Poets” and “Carpets of the Nizami Museum” in English were presented to the guest.
